The American Advertising Federation of Baton Rouge (AAF-BR) recently hosted over 200 professionals and students from Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, and Atlanta for the AAF District 7 Spring Convention. Over the course of the convention the local chapter and its members took home several awards.

District Award: LSU Manship School of Mass Communication (National Student Advertising Competition)
For the third year in a row, advertising students from the LSU Manship School of Mass Communications won the regional round of the National Student Advertising Competition. The students were tasked to create an integrated campaign for the competition’s client/sponsor, Tai Pei Frozen Foods. Among the team members were Drake Boudreaux, Caitlin Demarest, Ashley Monaghan, and Warren Travers. With this win, the team will move on to compete for the national competition that will be held at ADMERICA, the AAF National Conference, in New Orleans this upcoming June.
